Anzaur Kerashev has been appointed Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Adygea. The corresponding decree was signed by the Head of the Republic, Murat Kumpilov.
Earlier, Gennady Mitrofanov prematurely resigned as prime minister of the republic and last Friday was elected mayor of the city of Maykop.
Anzaur Kerashev was born in Maykop. Has a doctorate in economics. At various times he was elected a deputy of the Council of Maykop city and a deputy of the State Council-Khase (parliament) of the Republic of Adygea. Was the Minister of Education and Science of Adygea. In December 2021, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Adygea.
